There are many different types of misleading spreading around world some of them are indicating that corona beer is reason for corona virus, but do they know that corona simply means "crown", and the structure of this virus looks kind of crown-like so it is named coronavirus.

Myth 1: Pets at home can spread the new coronavirus.


Some of the person seen with there dog , both of them wearing masks in public. yes "it is true that dogs cats and most species carry their own kinds of coronavirus, but those are not human pathogens.” But it is always a good idea to wash your hands with soap and water after contact with pets. this can protect you from various common bacteria those are passes between pets and humans.



Myth 2: The new coronavirus affect older people.


Not its not tue people of all age group are infected same way the new Novel coronavirus(2019-nCoV). But they are seen more vulnerable of becoming severely ill because the older people are suffering from pre-existing medial conditions like asthma, diabetes, and heart disease etc. WHO advises people of all ages to take steps to protect themselves from the virus, for example by following good hand hygiene and good respiratory hygiene.



Myth 3: Antibiotics are effective in preventing and treating the new coronavirus.


This is the biggest myth of every time in us that antibiotics works on every kind of disease, But do we know, that, antibiotics only works in bacterial infection(according to Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) not viruses like coronavirus , therefore, antibiotics should not be used as a means of prevention or treatment.

Myth 4: Vaccines against pneumonia protect you from new coronavirus.


This Virus is so new and different than other virus so it needs its own vaccine, the vaccine against pneumonia do not protect you from corornavirus. But though it is not effective on 2019-nCoV , it can be used against respiratory illness.



Myth 5: Gargling mouth wash protect you from coronavirus infection.


Mouth wash can eliminate some microbes for few minutes but there is no evidence found that it can protect you from infection with 2019-nCoV. If you are using it then it is quit good to use to eliminate some microbes.



Myth 6: Putting sesame oil on body will block new coronavirus.


No, Sesame oil will not help to protect you from coronavirus infection. There are some chemical disinfectants that can kill the 2019-nCoV on surfaces like bleach/chlorine-based disinfectants, either solvents, 75% ethanol, per acetic acid and chloroform. but these chemical also have very little impact on virus so don't try to put these chemical on skin or under your nose it is so dangerous for your health. So don't try.


There may be many different myths going around the whole world, so don,t believe everything you read or watch.
